Since 1991 Parent-Child Mother Goose has been training people to deliver the Program in their own community. Our model of training and certification for Teachers and registration for their Programs has led to ongoing Mother Goose Programs all over Canada as well as in Afghanistan, Iran, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (in development), and the United States.
Anyone wishing to deliver the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program must receive training in the methods, the underlying ideas, and the materials of the program in a two-day Teacher Training Workshop. Teachers of the Program are also encouraged to complete a reporting process to become Certified.
Our Storytelling Workshop and our Building on Your Experience Workshop are one-day workshops offered to those already running our program. Our Your Grandma & My Grandma Workshop is a one-day professional development workshop geared toward those who work in multicultural early childhood settings. Please call us for more information.
All Mother Goose Programs are to be delivered with two trained teachers and at no cost to the participants.
